can i use kk s hok brand over straight base coat white ive not had any exp with kandies yet ive mostly done resto and the collision repair thing but have no exp with hoks paints im only a begginer with the airbrush but plenty of paint gun exp nearly 20 n that world but the stuff ive seen here blows me out the wateri use iwata cs and a lph 50 they both are awesome and wantn to work up to the th model soon am signed up for a local worh shop if doesnt get axed 4 lack of students ive got the complete hok true fire paints and videos very challegen to me but like to use some of the kandies 4 another project to afraid to usem $$$ :confused:

yea for sure , useing kandies over diffrent color bases will give you a whole variety of colors. Useing kandys over white will give you a nice brite look, sometimes to brite, i always use a metallic base < silver or gold > under candies , just to make them pop better. Dont ever be shy to try things !! This is custom paint , theres really no rules that aply, just follow guide lines and flash times , youll be cool !!!

thanks for your help still bit uneasy using it though the class that i was registered for saturday was killed not enough partisipation. just my luck next 1 is around may but there alreday talkn bout killing it two id like to take that airbrush getaway course in vegas soon or charolettei usualy do mail boxes but have been tryn out the panels u get from lowes and have did a coupple tool boxes walmart cheapys 10 dollar jobs

yea those classes are great and you learn alot without wasteing product. But still try everything , if your curious about something test it out. Theres alot of amazing things you can do with paint that noone has done. The only way to learn is to try. Good luck bud !!!
