This place is cool so I hope I'm not overstepping my bounds. I've been trying to get comfy with my old airbrush, it's dual action and it's not easy. Here's a couple things I've been goofing around with, Raphael is done by hand off small pic. Aing from The Last Avatar I tried to sketch with charcoal, I have problems with eyes.
The Gene pic I printed a pic, laminated it and cut out a stencil, need to work on the splatter control...lol. Just a reminder I've only been at this for a cpl weeks now, wink wink ...lol.

Newbe dude, looking good for a starter,I HAVE DONE WORSE...
practice,control on lines,less over spray...
I found holding my airbrush with both hands, and keeping my arms away from my body helped,by not getting ''trapped'' against your body your arms and wrists can flow, move smoother.Be patient, don't get in a hurry, your speed will increase as you get more comfortable.I have a bad problem with expecting toomuchtooquick...(I left the typo to demenstrate)
Anyway, think what and how and practice.Try a roll of shop paper towels, and practice vertical, horizontal lines, and circles, curlycues and circles.
And I like TNT,the Last Avatar and KISS,keep it up....-Steve-

Thanks for the replies. It's very encouraging. I found a drawing kit one of my sons received as a gift, and I've been working with it. I read somewhere something to the effect of "if you can draw it you can paint it" so I've been doing some of that practice.
