Iwata RG-3 Spray Gun

Need help. Does anyone know the best reduction of your paint to spray throught the RG-3. 2:1 or 1:1? I was spraying 2:1 in it and it was spraying funny. Dont know if the paint is too thick or something is wrong with my gun. Thanks.

It's been a couple years, but I remember runnin' 2:1. What exactly is wrong? Clogging? Spitting? Is everything clean? You can use more reducer it just usually takes an extra pass or two, sometimes three, for full coverage.

I had a touch up gun that sprayed heavy on one side of the fan. After a good soak in Acetone (just the air cap mind you) it sprayed much better.

Yes thats what its actually doing its spraying heavier on one side of the fan. Ill just soak it and see if that helps. Thanks so much.
