New here....how do I post pictures?

I see the "picture" icon in the Post new thread write up area.....however I'm not sure how to give the "http://" address of a picture? Must I have the picture up somewhere on the web first? If anyone could explain this to me I'd appreciate it a great deal.....& gain another new bit of internet knowledge.

Actually, when you reply to this post, look down below in the field called "Additional Options". Click on the button called "Manage Attachments". A new window will pop up. Now if the pics you want to post are on your computer then click on one of the browse buttons. Find the file folder your pics are in. Then click on the pic you want. That will take you back to the Manage Attachments window. Click the "Upload" button. Once it's thru uploading you can close the "manage attachments" window and click the "submit reply" button to post the message with your attachment.
