Apple Barrel craft paints and most craft type paints have a tendancy to fade with UV light aka sunlight. I would reccomend using airbrush paints such as Createx, Golden, Medea. Auto Air from Ceatex is a good one if you intend to leave things outside. Good UV protection. Make sure you clearcoat to protect the job.

You also have to very careful using Apple Barrel paint in your airbrush, if you don't clean it out really well, it will never come out.
It is now reactive, that means once it dries you can not make it liquify so you can clean it out.

The Apple Barrel stuff clumps up badly on the needle and cap for me, meaning I'm having to wipe off the needle quite often. Much worse than Createx.

Some of the other "craft" brands flow much better for me. "Annie's" is one of them (2oz bottles are 3 for $1 at AC Moore this week!). I normally reduce with just plain water. Using acrylic extender may work better for thinning Apple Barrel than water, haven't tried that yet.

check out Etac they have a few lines of paint and no issues with and airbrush
at all.if you just want cheap paint then stick with the store bought stuff.
when you want to move up to something good then I suggest Etac.

I can't qute you prices but it should be around the same as createx cause that
is one of their competitors so i know they have to be close.
it is the new rage and it's spreading fast.
