if i layout a mural on a tank in white i mean all the detail work really to where it would look done without color. can i lay in all my color with kandys and im not talking about just tinting the white back i mean laying in some killer lines and detail with the kandys? just wanted to throw in u have been a big influence on me when it comes to custom painting i think that what u started here with this forum is well. for u to find the time to do this is awesome hoping to make one of the get-aways soon should have went when they were in new orleans when i had the chance well looks like a road trip in the near future thanks bro

Thanks for the compliments, always nice to hear. As for painting up a mural using mainly kandies over a white base? I do it all the time. The most recent mural class that I taught at Coast Airbrush had a Giger biomechanical theme. I incorporated kandies layered over the white airbrushing over the black panels to get this effect. The pic of the white artwork is the first day of the project, using sequential masking, stencils, and freehand techniques with only BC-26 HoK white in the gun. The white pic, is one of the students in the three day hands-on class. The other pic is my demo piece, with all the colors incorporated in. All of the colors, and details were all done with kandies over the white. (With a few drops of black in the violet, and tangerine kandy for the absolute dark areas). Hope you like it.
