Which way is it sticking? Up, and down, or back, and forth? You might want to try cleaning out the oring in the base above the airvalve. The reason many of these go bad, is because of reducer, and paint working their way back from the fluid bearing. If you have an older CS with the neoprene O-Ring, this could be the source of the continued sticking. If you are not sure, then give either Dave, or Torrin a call at Coast. They can walk you through the trouble shooting, and let you know what to do. If you have the old neoprene oring, and it is fried the best thing to do would be to send your gun into Coast for an upgrade, and tune up. Good luck.

Could be that the fluid bearing needs to be adjusted. You can do it yourself with a small long necked standard blade screwdriver. Like the kind the Snapon man gives out. Remove all internal parts. Insert the screwdriver from the back, and rotate, until you find the slot of the set screw. Back off a half turn, then turn forward a little farther till you feel resistance. Insert the needle backwards to prevent damage. You should feel resistance, but not too much. Make sure to use aero, or Medea Super lube on the needle. You might also want to put a drop on the trigger base too. Good luck.

I am having the same issues with my Eclipse-CS. My trigger does not have the normal upward/downward throw and absolutely no air pressure. What can I do? Extremely frustrated!!! My PEAK out performes this gun right now! Really disappointed in IWATA right now

If there is no pressure coming from the airvalve, it is possibly because some reducer has gotten into the airvalve in the base, and seized the oring. This happens from pulling the trigger out, and cleaning opening with reducer near the bottom airvalve. It also happens when soaking the gun. You should never soak the entire body in anything. I merely clean it out with small pippette brushes, or q-tips. The head could also be clogged, and that would explain the lack of airpressure at the head. Try loosening the main head piece, while the trigger is depressed. If air starts to flow as you loosen, then you know it is a clogged head. There are two small holes in the head piece, use a needle to be sure they are clear. As for the trigger sticking. The same recommendations I gave above would apply. Give Dave at Coast a call if you are having anymore troubles, he is the real expert on trouble shooting any airbrushes, let alone Iwatas (714)-635-5557. I know a down airbrush can be frustrating. But try and keep in mind that no gun is perfect. Iwata's have problems just like any other airbrush, especially when it comes to cleaning. Overall they still have the best track record for durability, sprayability, and longevity of any gun out there.
