Hi kids. I am the retired regional champ HO scale open class slot car guy here and I painted lots of bodys by duct taping them top down to a cutting wheel of a dremel tool. I would then drop a drop of paint into the body while spinning it with the dremel, inside a box cuz of the mess. Sometimes two different colors. Then when it's dry you paint the base color overall with a brush. This spinning action produces the coolest slot cars you ever saw. I don't have any left to show you as I go real fast and I wreck real hard.

yeah, i'd say 60-100 depending on the job. i have put in 30 minutes up to 6 hours plus on one. Been thinking of doing it for just buddies and the rare here and there so i can put my time into painting not reversed, getting old to have to do things backwards then go to work and tattoo right side out. lol
my minds all backwards now. ha ha ha
Josh told me about CFX, i think i might have registered even, can't remember? (to many fumes) i remember at the time i was swamped busy and not surfin as much. maybe it's time to check it out again. what's it about again?
oh and thanks a bunch on the compliments.
gotta split to work.
running late like always. lol

Sorry for not responding to the original post. I must have missed this one. It has been a while since I have done a car, I will have to dig around, and find some pics. For those that subscribe to Airbrush Action, I had an article on painting a T-Max,..about 3 years ago. Can't find the issue myself,...typical. Well. If I can't find any of the old pics, I am doing a new one for the book. I will post pics of that once I finish it. By the way, very kewl stuff you got their.

well i been tattooing for 12 years and started racing rc cars, so i enjoyed trying to paint my own abd buddys, one person saw it and asked and it was like dominoes. it sucks painting backwards then going back to tattooing and going back to forward and vice versa. lol

i know the feeling...but in all honesty, painting "backwards" makes more sense to me now then painting "normally" =)
what about rc jets?
the jets in your gallery are AWESOME! nice work!
